Job Title: Assistant IT Manager (Phnom Penh, Must have long IT experience working in Hotel)
Job Location: Phnom Penh (Sometime mission to Bokor, Sihanoukville & Siemreap)
The hospitality division is an acute diversification from Sokimex core business. The flag-ship hotel, a 5 star luxury Sokha Beach Resort in Sihanouk Ville opened its doors to the public on 8 April 2004 followed by the opening of Sokha Angkor Resort in Siem Reap on 8 December 2005. Our parent company is Sokimex Group, widely known not only synonymous to petroleum but also in many key industries such as tourism, hospitality, transportation, infrastructure development, manufacturing and financial management.
Assistant IT Manager (Phnom Penh, Must have long IT experience working in Hotel)
Responsible for each branch IT personnel and all Hotel System, Software/Hardware/Network. Proposes budgets for programs and projects, purchases and upgrades equipment, supervises computer specialists and IT Manager for all SOKHA HOTELS, and presides over IT-related projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
Advise, monitor and liaises with all branch IT department & Management including Hardware & Software Technology
Must have strong experience with Hotel System such as Micro, Opera and other PMS
Strong experience in Network Management
Advise to GROUP PURCHASING DEPARTMENT for IT related matter if required including technical, specification, cost in both hardware & software
Propose regular IT checking schedule for each hotel with possible out source company subject approval from management
Assist & review annual Budget Plan for IT Department Proposal
Datacenter management for SOKHA Hotels & Resort & Thansur Bokor
Assist in relation of IT with new Project Developments if required with limited.
Produce monthly report and report to Chairman/Vice Chairman
Provide technological guidance within an IT department. Restructure Policy & Procedure for each hotel, corporate office with time frame and costs
Design, establish, and maintain a network infrastructure for local and wide area connectivity and remote access.
Consult with administration, department managers, and manufacturing representatives to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss equipment/system changes.
Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software purchased for the corporation if required
Create a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows.
Oversee Internet and computer operations for each hotel & corporate office
Manages the day-to-day operations of the information technology department including directing staff, which support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions.
Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.
Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department.
Plans and implements additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure company-wide in coordination with corporate leadership.?
Oversees the implementation of network security at the corporate level.? Anticipates future network needs, identifies proactive solutions to satisfy needs.?
Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives.
Note: Must have long IT experience working in Hotel
